A versatile laser-cut MDF baseboard centre section for use with our BB001, BB002 & BB003 Modular Baseboards, or can be used on its own for dioramas where no backscene is required. Multiple boards can be bolted together to build larger dioramas, such as airfields or fiddle yards etc. Ideal for building a wide variety of dioramas and layouts for all types and scales of military, aviation and road transport modelling, as well as small-scale model railway layouts. These baseboards are very easy to build, taking just 5 to 10 minutes to assemble. Minimal tools & just a little wood glue required to assemble. Supplied with spacers and bolts for connection to additional baseboard modules. Base plinth has a 40mm high space underneath the entire baseboard for mounting motors, batteries and other electronic modules if required.

Very pleased with it. The 3 units I purchased assembled very easily and went together well albeit with a bit of bowing of the joining ends but had no adverse effect on the surface. When ready to extend layout would definitely use them again.

Excellent product at a very reasonable price

This is the second baseboard of this type I have ordered and I don't think I would now shop anywhere else. The product is reasonably priced, easy to assemble and promptly delivered. I model in Z scale and this board, without a backscene board, is ideal for modelling this scale as it can be viewed on a tabletop and in the round. I like all the products from this company and hope they continue to survive and thrive on the model railway scene. PS since you produce stuff in N scale, how about a little more for the Z scale modeller ? There is a market out there and it's easy to reduce the scale !

Easy to build, fast delivery.

These baseboards are ideal as a stand alone display, or as I have done make great extension boards that fit the other baseboards in the range. Gives you added flexibility to extend and change your layout. An easy build. Very happy with them.
